Come and enjoy the lovely Anjou region!

Gites Vallées Oudon-Mayenne is situated in the heart of the Anjou Bleu region (Maine et Loire) in the beautiful Loire Valley (Vallée de la Loire in French), which is in the North West of France. The area is known as the Garden of France due to the abundance of vineyards fruit orchards and fertile farmland, which can be found along both banks of the river. Due to its well preserved historic towns, renaissance architecture, stunning chateaux and superb wines, UNESCO added the Loire River valley to its list of Word Heritage sites in 2000, making this region one of the top holiday destinations for visitors from around the world.

We can welcome you as a couple, family or friends or the site can be privatize and accommodate up to 32 people.  Wheelchair users or persons with a mobility impairment are warmly welcomed and can enjoy purpose built facilities – a large ground floor bedroom with its own large wet room in three of our gites.

Gites Vallées Oudon-Mayenne is described as “a little piece of paradise in the country side” neighouring the rivers Oudon and the Mayenne. With its 4 gites combining comfort and authenticity, each gite is a self contained converted farm building, with a well equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences including three pin English electrical sockets as well as European ones in every room, free WiFi,  a lounge/dining area and  a patio area with its own garden furniture and BBQ.

Facilities include a shared seasonal secured heated pool 10 x 5 m (1.2 m deep, the whole length). On site is a shared pergola, should you want to get to know your neighbours’ over a glass of wine, play area for the children as well as other games.

With such beautiful views of the countryside, lovers of calm and tranquility, our gites are a perfect base for you to explore the area or if its a little relaxation you’re after, spend time by the pool or on your terrace or maybe you prefer to unwind with a game of pétanque on our boules area (pétanque balls on site).

Whatever your holiday requirements are, hosts Andy and Karen look forward to welcoming you and your family and friends to their gites on what was once an authentic working farm.

  1. Hello Karen,

We are wondering for our family of 10, possibly 12, depending on extended family coming, how much it would cost to stay the 6th to 12th July, or possibly give or take a day or two. (Is it cheaper to book 7 days, than 6, or 5?) Is the swimming pool shared at all times with the other Gites? Same for the BBQ? Thank you

    Emily in UK

    1. Hi Emily,

Thank you for your interest, booking from 6 – 12 July 2020.
For our large gite, 4 bedrooms (max 11)
      7 nights €1260
      6 nights €920
      5 nights €780

For 12 people including children, I would recommend 2 gites .

Our small gite, 2 bedrooms (max 4)
      7 nights €620
      6 nights €460
      5 nights €390

The pool, is there for all gites, however, from experience, not everyone uses the pool at the same time.
Each gite has its own bbq and tools, we do also have a large one available for larger parties too.

Hope this helps, pleased to answer any further questions, any time.

      Best wishes

  2. Hi Emily,
I gave you the wrong prices for the 7 nights.
As your dates are not in our high season, the prices are as follows:
    Le Hetre – 7 nts €1060.00
    Le Saule – 7 nts €520.
    5 & 6 night prices are correct.

  3. Hi,

Thank you for your recommendation in Facebook. How much would it cost for 12 people for a week at the end of July 2021?
